Hi everyone, I’m Will, recently diagnosed (last month) as autistic. I’m late diagnosed though - at 40!

Both my kids are also autistic, which is what got me looking into things and learning.

Still trying to get my head around things and looking to join autistic communities to get to know others. I find forums easier as it’s easier to keep track of things and I used to use them loads when younger.

    Being diagnosed later in life was significant for me, it took the best part of a year to reprocess life events through the Autism lense. A shifting sense of self accompanied this and navigating the future more authentically followed.

    I think this process is similar, but different, for every late diagnosed person, much like Autism itself.
