That is interesting ,in the US that is what "Escorts" are billed as but this service really is just an escort.
I have heard in other reports that Japan is getting more asexual

Do you mean that this is a paid hook up service in the US?
    Whereas this a literal escort?

We have services that advertise as escort services like to accompany a man to a party or dinner. But it's a front for prostitution and that's 95% of men use them for.

For women ,wealthy women often have a chauffeur (luxury car driver) or a security body guard who doubles as a sex partner, this is called a gigolo.

Yep it is pretty common that escort are front for prostitution in a lot of country where if you don't technically solicit sex they can't prove anything. Also paying for sex isn't the same a solicitation. They can't actual make paying for sex illegal easily becuase it touches on the whole premise of what constitutes a transaction, it might be a meal it might help with something, etc. What people do in private can't really be policed.  Only curb crawling, solicitation, brothels, pimp can be made illegal. The sex trade know this this is why where is still criminalised the criminal gags have been moving away from using their premises for sex. Although you still get massage parlour, etc which are a front for brothels it is much easier to secure a conviction.  However the conviction they are going for now is people trafficking whcih is not just about borders but controlling sex workers around a city or area. Though general they have their documents held by these gangs.

If on one ever agrees on a price for sex it can't be called prostitution. If sex is just part of an evening and payment was for a massage or dinner company.

A police officer must hear the words "money for sex"

Nor necessarily hear the word, but there has to be evidence of a crime. Money for sex isn't always what is illegal. Solicitation, running a brothel, people trafficking these need specific evidence that can take time for the vice squad to gather, before they attempt arrest.

Some countries criminalise the punter some countries criminalise the sex worker some criminalise the entire transaction. Some decriminalise in approved venue like Germany, Australia and Nevada.

While I'm not against demineralisation, it doesn't solve the various social issue behind the sex trade.
