Phil Spector,81, dies behind bars

Known for creating the wall of sound and produced hits for the Righteous Brothers and Beatles among others was one of the most influential figures in pop music.
Phil Spector has died in prison at age 81 from complications of Covid-19,his daughter Nicole Spector has said.

Spector had been serving a life sentence in prison for a 2009 conviction for the 2003 murder of night club hostess Lana Clarkson.Clarkson was found slumped over a chair with a gun shot to the mouth.
